The Consortium SCIRE was founded in 2001 by “Tor Vergata” University of Rome and “Elasis” research center (FIAT group). It collaborates with research centers and several companies, encouraging cooperation and technology transfer. By 2010 members of the Consortium are “Tor Vergata” University, ”Parthenope” University of Naples, Consortium Technos and Temis s.r.l. in equal shares. S.C.I.R.E., a non‐profit research organization, holds previous experience in National and European research projects and industrial consultancy on Automotive Sector.
Its main activities are focused on four areas: Transport (in particular green vehicles), Energy Efficiency, Innovative Materials and Business Excellence.
